Support Escalations Specialist:

Compensation: $75,000-$90,000

As part of the Support Escalations team, you will play a central role in enhancing the Outschool customer experience. Your primary focus will be to minimize ticket escalations and identify opportunities to increase efficiencies in our support workflows. By collaborating with our outsourced team of agents and harnessing the power of AI, you’ll aim to reduce the percentage of escalated tickets. Your critical thinking skills will be crucial in pinpointing opportunities for the Support team to become more efficient, ultimately providing top-tier service. Your contributions will be instrumental in shaping a seamless educational experience for our community while optimizing support operations. 

  • Provide email support to parents and educators with complex and escalated product issues 
  • Reduce the percentage of escalated tickets by developing strategies to tackle recurring challenging issues at their root, ensuring that similar cases can be efficiently handled by our outsourced team or AI in the future 
  • Play an active role in training our outsourced agents handling escalated cases 
  • Apply critical thinking to identify opportunities for enhancing the efficiency of workflows and processes for escalated tickets 
  • Advocate for reducing friction in the customer experience by proactively identifying and surfacing pain points 

Processing Specialist I:

Compensation: $15.80 – $20.54

Processing Specialists are responsible for many of the background processes that support the student financial services team. The processes include, but are not limited to, packaging financial aid, reviewing, and approving disbursements, processing R2T4s, verification, and determining credit balances. This position is also responsible for assisting with ensuring that the university is following all applicable federal/state statutes and regulations.

Essential Functions:

  • Ensures daily communication with the Department of Education systems, including importing and exporting Title IV aid data.
  • Financial aid packaging, disbursement review, and credit balance review processes.
  • Ensures timely and accurate review and processing of verification, c-codes, conflicting information, and professional judgment.
  • Processes R2T4, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
  • State and proration calculations
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Reasonable and consistent attendance to fulfill requirements of the position.

Remote Risk Adjustment Data Intake Specialist:

A RADV Data intake Specialist conducts tasks including medical record intake. This person checks submissions from Medicare Advantage Organizations (MAOs) to make sure they meet CMS’s requirements before they are moved to subsequent review steps. 

  • Evaluate and intake medical records and cover sheets for data entry within the CDAT-M system
  • Check submissions to ensure they meet requirements
  • Verify format, provider type, acceptable provider signature, dates of service, etc.
  • Document records that include protected health information 
  • Notify CMS of records that require additional guidance/direction in order to continue processing
  • Coordinates in a professional and courteous manner with team members and providers
  • Checks completed work for accuracy
  • Identifies and reports issues or errors, such as incomplete or missing records and documentation, 
  • Reports operational concerns to manager for Quality Improvement of daily processes
  • Demonstrates knowledge of various document types – e.g. paper records and electronic records
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Fraud Investigations Associate:

Compensation: $47,610 to $63,480, plus bonus.

As a Fraud Investigations Associate, the daily mission will be to specialize in investigating cases and disputes and limit or recover monetary losses.   • Investigate assigned fraud claims and billing disputes.
  • Interact with law enforcement agencies and persons of curiosity in order to acquire and review all information and complete the appropriate actions.
  • Use good judgment and all available resources to make well-informed decisions when approving or denying a case.
  • Proactively identify trends or patterns related to fraud claim activity and advance as appropriate.
  • Troubleshoot sophisticated cases independently and with minimal direction when required.
  • Handle raised client inquiries, time-sensitive cases, and large dollar financial investigations.
  • Provide case statuses to customers and management.
  • Connect with management regarding irregularities or errors in case handling.
  • Enforce the department processes, procedures, and goal expectations for all aspects of case investigations.

Client Operations Coordinator:

Compensation: $15.00 per hour.

As a Client Operations Coordinator, you will work with our Client Onboarding team and our carriers to ensure all of SimplyInsured’s customers are properly submitted and enrolled with their requested Insurance Carrier. This role will require you to work with various insurance carriers to resolve any eligibility concerns and ensure that, once approved, the Customer is correctly enrolled in their insurance plan(s). 

  • Assist the Client Onboarding team with submitting all required documentation and information to the Insurance Carriers
  • Work to resolve any eligibility concerns with the carrier 
  • Ensure our customers are properly enrolled on the SimplyInsured platform
  • Utilize phone, text, and email to provide proactive outreach to Insurance carriers to help move our customers through the onboarding process more quickly
  • Partner with internal team members in revenue operations and support to ensure a smooth, high-satisfaction experience for customers 

Virtual Transcriptionist – National:

Must live in AL, GA, IA, ID, IN, KY, LA, MS, NC, ND, NH, OK, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, WI, WY

Reporting to Client Service Management, the Virtual Transcriptionist (Transcriptionist) accesses recordings of patient encounters and ensures accurate and timely documentation of the medical record into our customer’s electronic medical record system. The Transcriptionist performs other related medical record or clerical duties to increase provider effectiveness, efficiency, and productivity.

  • Accesses recordings submitted by providers and transcribes them directly into the customer’s EMR
  • Translate layman’s terms into medical terminology for purpose of completing medical documentation
  • Responsible and accountable for the accuracy of the medical documentation produced 
  • Ensures medical record compliance by including the approved attestation to include: transcriptionist name, title and doctor working for as well as specific date and time entry
  • At the direction of the physician, updates all components of the patient’s medical record including subjective and objective information, physical exam, assessment and plan, and any other pertinent clinical information necessary to complete the medical record
  • Preparing and sending all documentation to physician for review and approval via authentication of detailed data entry and facility-specific procedures
  • Compliance with hospital and ProScribe policies, including those relating to HIPAA and security 
  • Regular and reliable attendance as required 
  • Produce timely and efficient documentation and perform only work-related functions while contributing to the company’s time.
  • Perform other clerical duties and tasks to improve provider productivity and clinic workflow as assigned
