Job Duties:
Duties would include but are not limited to: monitoring live chat support on a custom chat engine, processing users’ support tickets and other administrative tasks and duties as assigned from a home (virtual) environment.
Shifts Available:
Shift schedules will vary and be dependent on division needs. Our Live Support Services Division is open 24/7/365 so we have shifts all throughout the day and night.
Claims Adjustment Representative – National Remote:
Salary: $16.00 – $31.44 per hour
This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday – Friday. Employees are required to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours with 6:00am – 6:00pm local time zone. It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.
We offer 11 weeks of training. The hours during training will be 8:00am to 4:30pm EST.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Evaluate claim information based on research and communication from member or provider
- Complete necessary adjustments to claims and ensure the proper benefits are applied to each claim by using the appropriate processes and procedures (e.g., claims processing policies and procedures, grievance procedures, state mandates, CMS/Medicare guidelines, benefit plan documents/certificates)
- Learn and leverage new systems and training resources to help apply claims processes/procedures
- Expert system navigation and computer skills
- Analyze trends and complete daily reports
- Provide expertise and complex claims support to customers
- Make determinations to authorize payment or refer claims to internal business partners for further review
- Apply an extensive understanding of claim intake and workflow

Responsibilities:

-Reviews all other sources of written materials, fact checking, verifying correct use of unfamiliar terms, and ensuring accuracy of quoted materials
-Uses familiarity with references and other source materials to verify and apply them to new materials; identifies material that requires referencing
-Demonstrates knowledge of brand/disease state and contributes from that perspective
-Evaluates adequate presence and size of fair balance in relationship to claims being made
-Challenges any inaccurate or questionable changes dictated by client/medical/regulatory/legal
-Works closely with copywriters to achieve best communication possible
-Analyzes content, determining and performing level of edit necessary, revising, rewriting, and reorganizing for clarity, comprehension, logic, structure, and flow
