This contractor will work with a group of 6 others who are responsible for following up with customers and ensuring they log into the portal to update and/or register to get invoices paid. This is similar to when you go to a Dr.’s appointment and they tell you to create an account online. They will be working out of a queue and will be given a list of vendors to EMAIL ONLY that have not yet registered in the online portal or if a vendor needs to update their information.
hese vendors are provided by the AP department because they have been unable to process an invoice due to a lack of client information to pay invoice. i.e. they either need to be set up in their portal system or are already an existing client needing more information. Admins will document all information and will eventually send an email to invite them to the portal and exhaust that resource (due to lack of communication/follow up with that particular vendor). They might also be given additional responsibilities such as scanning, filing and indexing vendor information.
