
Job Summary:
This remote position is responsible for performing all clerical duties on new incoming claims; Including logging of claim and requesting any necessary information from clinics and/or customers. This position also monitors reports for tracking workflow and service goals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently log claims; This may include paper claims, faxed claims, and emailed claims based on established time-frames and goals.
- Back-up the claims support supervisor as needed; assist team members with questions and training; assigning tasks, respond to emails
- Identify incomplete claim forms and/or need for additional information required to process claim; Request additional information in a prompt, professional manner as required via fax, email, or phone.
- Meet performance metrics set forth by department management
- Contact veterinary clinics and/or customers to secure medical records and claim related information
- Provide accurate and adequate documentation of all client and veterinary communication
- Provide “best in class” customer service to our customers to discuss claims
- Self-manage priorities and resources

- Transcribe 120 minutes of audio per day
- Maintain deadlines set upon being assigned the job

This team operates 24 hours/7 days per week. Customer Support Specialists work full time on a 4-day workweek schedule that may include nontraditional hours such as evenings, weekends and holidays.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Provide phone, email, and text-based support to Roadie customers, partners, users, and other community members
- Address all customer concerns politely, using active listening skills to understand and confirm the information

Claims Administrative Support Associate:
Base Compensation Range: $19.50—$25.50 USD
The Claims Administrative Support Associate is a key role for Pie’s growing Claims Team. You will be responsible for addressing correspondence that comes in support of the Claims department such as first notice of loss, coverage requests, and mail exception queues from both internal and external parties. This role includes utilizing one or more technology platforms or systems to identify, analyze, and translate business needs on existing claims or new claim requests.
In this position you will also partner with the customer care advocate department to provide support when needed. Candidates must be self-starters who possess the ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to providing industry leading customer service.
