Pay Support Agent:

Job Responsibilities:

  • Pay Support’s primary responsibility is to provide services to Overstock.com customers (both external and internal) when normal avenues have failed to provide the proper Charge or Credit.
  • Use various accounting and financial tools to accomplish the goals of the team such as Vantiv, Credit Terminal, Coin Payments, Coinbase, PayPal, etc.
  • Work and research Overstock.com physical and Electronic Gift Cards, Tax Exemptions, and accounting spreadsheets.
  • Agent should be knowledgeable in customer service policies and procedures to come up with the best resolution that is fair for both our customers and Overstock.com.
  • Perform other duties as required and assigned by manager and upper management.
  • Must be able to perform daily tasks that require details and accuracy on accounts serviced.

Full Time Freelance Writer:

WordAgents is looking for full-time writers for ongoing work creating articles on a full-time basis for us. We are looking for writers than can commit to a minimum of 20,000 to 25,000 words per week produced for us. This amounts to between 80,000 and 100,000 words per month written for us. This is not a position or role for every writer. 

  • This is a contract position and is 100% remote. All communication is handled digitally via email, Slack, and Zoom meetings.
  • Payments are paid out on a bi-weekly basis on the 10th and 25th of every-month. They are paid in arrears.

Processing Associate:

The annual salary for this role is $45,000 – $52,000, depending on skills and experience. 

As a Processing Associate (temporary) on our Finance team, you will collaborate with processing teammates and the Billing and Sales teams to ensure we efficiently process all BrainPOP subscription orders. This role  will ensure BrainPOP leads with empathy while maintaining accurate customer subscription data.

The Processing Associate role is a temporary position from late June/early July 2023 through October 31, 2023. The daily working hours will be approximately 9 am – 5:30 pm Eastern. 

Executive Assistant:

$50,639-$61,893, depending on the approximate cost of living in your area. 

As Executive Assistant, you will work with our Executive Director (ED) and others to enable greater productivity for the ED and, by extension, the rest of our organization. You will own the high-quality completion of administrative tasks such as prioritizing requests for the ED’s time; managing the ED’s calendar, email inbox, to-do list, and travel; and engaging with internal and external stakeholders on the ED’s behalf. Content Moderator:

As a Content Moderator, you will be responsible for keeping Sidechat + Yik Yak fun and safe for everyone. That means:

* Working inside moderation tools to investigate, escalate and/or resolve flagged posts

* Moderating posts with fast and accurate decision-making

* Having an objective view

* Moderating explicit and sensitive content

* Being flexible about working evenings, holidays, and weekends

Claims Support Associate:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor our general claims email inboxes to ensure new claims, reassignments, and reopens are distributed timely to staff or independent adjusters.
  • Create useful reports to present key metrics to claims leadership on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Some ad hoc reporting as needed.  
  • Assist the claims team by fielding questions from agents and policyholders, a keen sense of knowing when to escalate certain questions to the appropriate internal team members will be necessary.
  • Responsible for accurately issuing, reissuing, or rejecting payments to our service providers, policyholders, vendors, and attorneys.
  • Assist with claim review and entry of First Notice of Loss (FNOL’s) and identify which team incoming claims should be assigned to in our claims system.
  • Utilize our Zendesk system to examine and troubleshoot claims information from policyholders and agents.

Bookkeeper:

Pay: $20 – $24 per hour
