Hello No Phone WFH Family! I have information on a speed hiring fair that is happening tomorrow. I found this over the weekend, and you have exactly 24 hours to prepare for the job fair.

In this article, I am going to tell you exactly what you need in order to be prepared to make sure you are one of the few applicants who are selected to continue through the hiring process.
The name of the company that is hiring and extending preliminary offers is Telus Digital Experience. They are a well-known company that I share jobs from often. They usually offer long-term part-time contracts.
That goes without saying, a few years ago I was hired for one of their projects, but it was a voice collection project. It was a quick way to make a few bucks. Nonetheless, if you are looking for something more long term, then you will want to read until the end of this article to make sure you follow all the steps.
Who is Telus Digital Experience?
You may remember this company as Telus International, but they have merged with LionBridge and are now Telus Digital Experience. The company focuses on crowd-sourcing projects and AI model training. Unless you participate in the voice collection project, 99% of their tasks are non-phone and can be completed any time of the day as long as you meet your weekly hourly minimum.
To date, they now offer customer service opportunities that use artificial intelligence as well as global on site positions. Telus offers jobs globally so if you are not in the United States, still check out their site to find other opportunities.
What is the normal rate of pay?
Pay from Telus Digital Experience varies based on the projects. There are some projects that pay out a one time payment, and their long term projects usually pay around $13-$17 per hour. Payment for the long term projects is usually sent weekly or bi-weekly via Hyperwallet, Paypal, or your bank account.
When is the Speed Hiring Event?
On tomorrow, November 19, 2024, Telus will be hosting a speed hiring event. It is similar to an internet speed dating event except you’ll be meeting with recruiters to learn more about the gigs that are available on the platform.
The link states that if you meet the preliminary qualifications, then you will be advanced the next level in the hiring process.
You do need to have your computer near you while in the event and make sure to bring your employment qualifying documents such as your ID.
You do not have a set time that you are required to log in per se, but the event lasts from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. As with any hiring event, it is best to get in the virtual room as early as possible.
What type of email should I use?
For the hiring event tomorrow, you need to use a Gmail account, but some of their projects on the platform require AppleID accounts. Please make sure that the account you use to fill out the interest form, is the same account you plan to receive the link to the event.
How do I register?
You can register by following this link. It will ask you to log in with your Gmail account and then fill out the Google Form. I know I tell you all not to fill out Google Forms, but most AI and crowd-sourcing companies use Google Forms in the pre-hiring and employment stages of the company.
