If you love reading or if you have a verified Amazon account with $50 worth of purchases, posting Amazon reviews for these companies might be worth your while.

Here are five companies and programs that will send you books to read for free in exchange for honest reviews.

1. Literary Legacy Publishing

Literary Legacy Publishing regularly offers free books to readers in exchange for reviews. To become a reader for this platform, you don’t sign up online. Instead, email their admin directly to express interest in joining their reviewer pool.

In your email include your name, email address that you would like to use, and express your interest in wanting to review books for them. They’ll respond with a few qualifying questions. After that, your first three books will be paid as soon as you submit the screen shot of the approved Amazon Book Review at the rate of $3 per book. Your fourth book and beyond will be paid out every 3 books in the total of $9.

You need a verified Paypal account to receive payment. Email their admin here: info@literarylegacypublishing.com.

2. Paid Reader Club

Paid Reader Club is a more automated platform where you can create a free login on their website and browse books available for review. Once you join, you’ll start seeing titles that match your interests. Some of the payments for the books range from $2-$30 per review, and you can get paid the same day.

The website uses Stripe to pay out; therefore a Paypal account is not needed. The minimum amount needed to cash out is $10, and it goes straight to your bank account. Create your account on their website.

3. The Niche Reader

Like Paid Reader Club, The Niche Reader invites you to register on their website and start selecting books right away. Once you’re logged in, you’ll have access to a library of titles waiting for reviewers.

Create your account using their website.

4. OnlineBookClub.org

OnlineBookClub.org is one of the best known free book review communities online. Simply enter your email, create an account, and start reading.

On the sign up page, you are instructed to enter your email and wait for them to send you opportunities to review books. Payouts range from $5-$60, per their website. The first book you review is free, but after that, you are paid for each book review you complete.

5. Apex Book Company

Apex Book Company runs a Read and Review Program that lets readers request free books in exchange for reviews. You don’t sign up through an online portal like other platforms — instead, they use a Google form to collect reader information and match you with books that suit your interests. Once approved, you’ll be added to a mailing list and notified about new review opportunities.

You can find the Google Form on their website. You can also email their contact (listed on the program page) if you have specific requests.

Conclusion

If you’re consistent, follow Amazon’s review guidelines, and provide honest, thoughtful feedback, you can quickly build a strong reviewer profile which will lead to more money in your pocket. You do not have to read the books to get paid to review them. If pressed for time, or if there are no selections that appeal to your interests, plug the book blur into ChatGPT, and let it write a simple review for you.
